ONENESS WITH THE DIVINE

ONENESS WITH THE DIVINE

To “fear God” is simply to be reverent (meaning to be humble) as we contemplate an Infinite God (presence) that fills the entire universe—totally beyond the realm of space and time as we know them.  At some point, as we grow in our journey of ONENESS with the Divine, we no longer see Him as an outside being, somewhere up in the sky, apart from ourselves, but we experience the reality of being one with an Infinite presence in a way that is beyond the realm of thoughts, concepts, and words.  Words are totally inadequate to really teach or describe what “knowing” [experiencing] God is all about.  I think one aspect of reverence is simply to stop trying to explain that which is unexplainable and enter into the “most holy place” of ONENESS with the Divine.  With Paul I would affirm “Who is sufficient for these things?” (see 2 Corinthians 2:14-16).  There is a real hunger in the hearts of so many at this very perplexing time to know [experience] God (see John 17:3).

One person who is truly communing with God and experiencing the Divine sends healing energy throughout the whole created order. Prayer isn't just for yourself but touches many others, especially those who reach out to you for prayer support.
